Just What I Kneeded

What happens after a life-altering knee injury?

Bed pans and whatnot

Surgery happened just as scheduled, so now I’m finishing up the third post-op day. This is the first I’ve been able to even look at a computer screen because of the nausea, but I had to do my civil duty and provide a PSA. Bed pans are gross. There. Done.

I’m hanging out right now with some good company (see below). He just won’t leave me alone. I’ll write more later about the day of surgery and how much I recommend nerve blocks because they’re so lovely. Seriously, I want another one. Like, now.

I have a fern I named Frankenstein. I like leprechauns, practicing kung fu moves on my dining room furniture, and pretending that one day I will move to Fiji. I dislike my neighbors' kids, anything that is chartreuse, and Ben Roethlisberger.
