Winter storm or the next blockbuster?

It’s not lost on me that suddenly we’re naming winter storms; we’ve jumped right to the H’s and the one that dumped more than a foot of snow here in less than 24 hours is named “Hercules.” It also does not escape my notice that “The Legend of Hercules” is being released this Friday. Massive PR potential and perfectly executed. I blame Hollywood for the foot of snow, blustering winds and sub-zero temperatures. Thanks, guy from Twilight who no one knows because you’re not Robert Pattinson.

In the meantime, I’ve been making the most of being snowed in and have spent quality time with Netflix. Thank goodness for Netflix. At least today, it’s stopped snowing and the sun is out. I’m ignoring the wailing wind and the -15 degree temperature reading on my thermometer.

PIcture of the snow.

My token snow picture.

I have a fern I named Frankenstein. I like leprechauns, practicing kung fu moves on my dining room furniture, and pretending that one day I will move to Fiji. I dislike my neighbors' kids, anything that is chartreuse, and Ben Roethlisberger.
